Don’t want to drive to the trail head. Not a problem. With 127 acres to explore you can choose from several hikes right outside your cabin door.
The aspen groves, pine forests, and mountaintops of the Eastern Sierras provide breathtaking views you won’t find anywhere else.

Enjoy fishing season on the west fork of the Carson river. Throw a line right from your campsite. Fishing season is open from the last Saturday in April until mid November. Destress with catch and release or enjoy the fruits of your labor and utilize our campfire grills. Are you an avid or aspiring Angler? We have partnered with Tahoe Fly Fishing Outfitters to provide you with the best guides in the great Lake Tahoe area.

STAND UP PADDLE BOARDING

Experience the beauty of our surrounding bodies of water from a new perspective. Stand up paddle boarding is a fun activity you can do on oceans, lakes, rivers, and bays. It’s a great full body core workout and a unique way to experience the beauty of the outdoors. Best of all, it’s perfect for people of all ages and skill levels. There’s even enough room to paddle with a dog, friend, child or significant other. Paddleboards are for rent $50 per day. They are located at the Front Desk and are on a first come first serve basis.

KIRKWOOD DOWNHILL SKIING

Kirkwood Mountain Resort is a year-round resort in Kirkwood, California south of Lake Tahoe and 15 minutes west of Wylder Hope Valley. Kirkwood focuses on skiing & snowboarding in the winter months and hiking & mountain-biking during the summer. Kirkwood is one of the region’s larger resorts, and is well known for having one of the highest average snowfalls.
