  • Catch and release fishing season is March 1, 2021 through the last weekend in April.
  • The regular fishing season is April 24, 2021 through November 15, 2021.

Take a dip in a swim hole just steps from our backyard or spend the day at one of the many beaches or creeks just a short drive away. These swim spots are a great way to cool off and become one with nature in these breathtaking natural bodies of waters.

  • West Fork Carson River, Crystal Springs Road, Blue Lakes, Red Lakes, Fallen Leaf, Angora, Burnside Lake, and Cables Lake

Drive:

  • Kiva Beach (dog friendly), Taylor Creek, Baldwin, Pope Beach, Nevada Beach

Go Out and Explore

STAND UP PADDLE BOARDING

Experience the beauty of our surrounding bodies of water from a new perspective. Stand up paddle boarding is a fun activity you can do on oceans, lakes, rivers, and bays. It’s a great full body core workout and a unique way to experience the beauty of the outdoors. Best of all, it’s perfect for people of all ages and skill levels. There’s even enough room to paddle with a dog, friend, child or significant other. Paddleboards are for rent $50 per day. They are located at the Front Desk and are on a first come first serve basis.
