What are the hours of Tickler’s Crab Shack? 

Please see the dining section on our website for current seasonal restaurant hours.

Do you have a beach? 

We have a beautiful waterline preservation beach on our property that is used for our kayak, canoe, and paddle board launch. There are no public beaches in the area.

Is there a refrigerator in the rooms? 

Our Standard rooms do not have mini fridges. There are mini fridges in our Bungalows and Suites. If you need a medical mini fridge to store medication or breast milk, with advance notice and depending on availability, we can accommodate. 

Are there coffee makers in the rooms?

The rooms do not have coffee makers in them, however every morning starting at 8am we offer complimentary coffee in Bar Mumbo. 

How do the bikes and water sports work? 

The bikes, water sports, and lawn games are all based off a first come first serve basis. If you see them, you can take them! 

How long is the pool open for? 

The Heated Saltwater Pool is open from 8am – Sunset during the months of April through October. Weather Dependent.

Is breakfast included? 

Breakfast options change seasonally. Please call the hotel for current breakfast offerings.

Are there places to dock if I arrive by boat? 

Yes, we do have slips available for docking.  If you are eating in the restaurant. the first 2 hours are complimentary. If you are staying in one of our hotel rooms your boat dock fee is waived. Please see our Marina info under the rooms tab on our website for nightly slip stays. 

Is it possible to set up a private boat cruise or fishing trip? 

Private boat cruises and Fishing Trips can be booked in advance, please call the hotel to book your trip! 

What is there to eat when the restaurant is closed?

There are a couple places that we suggest here on the Island: Two if by Sea, or Tilghman Island Country Store. St. Michael’s, which is just a short 10 -15-minute drive from us has many great options as well. 

What are the COVID restrictions at your property? 

We are following all CDC and State regulations. Currently, stay over cleaning is upon request only. Please let Guest Services know if you would like to request cleaning services. 

What is there to do when it rains at your property? 

There are still many rainy-day activities that you can partake in such as board games or indoor lawn games. You can also read one of our local history books by one of our fireplaces.

How far of a walk is it from the Bungalows to the main hotel? 

From the front desk the Bungalows are 100 steps away. All our hotel rooms are close in proximity. 

Is it possible to get an early check-in? 

Check- in is at 3pm, We cannot guarantee that your room will be ready before that. However, if you arrive earlier, we would be more than happy to let you use the amenities, just check in with Guest Services upon arriving. 

What time is Check out at, and can I get a late check-out? 

Check out is at 11am. If you are interested in a late check out, please contact Guest Services so we can set one up for you. Late check out is an additional $50 and allows you to stay in your room until 2pm. 

Where is a good place to ride the bikes?

I would suggest riding to Dogwood Harbor or to the end of the Island to Black Walnut Point. There are a lot of historical waterfront properties that are fun to ride around and see as well.

Am I able to go swimming in the bay water? 

Yes! Just watch out for the jelly fish in the summer months. 

Can I bring my pet with me to your hotel? 

Yes, we love dogs! There is a $50 per night deep cleaning fee per dog, per night. Your Dog is allowed everywhere on the property except for the swimming pool area and the inside restaurant. 

What is the cancelation policy? 

At the time of booking if you choose refundable, you have up until 7 days prior to arrival to get your deposit back. If you choose the non-refundable rate, your deposit will not be returned if you cancel your booking.

Do you have roll away beds? 

We do not have any cots or roll away beds. 

Is your hotel handicap friendly? 

Unfortunately, we are not, we are a historic property. We do not have elevators. 

Do you have a place I can launch my boat from your property? 

No, we do not have a boat launch at our property. There is a boat ramp at Dogwood Harbor. A ramp permit can be purchased at Fairbank Tackle.

Do you have a place I can park my trailer?

Yes, please see Guest Services upon arrival and we will direct you on where the best place to park is. 

Is there a gym on property? 

No, there is not a gym. Tilghman Island is a great place for a run, or a bike ride. Please see our happening page on our website for information on seasonal water aerobics and yoga.
