When are you accepting reservation?
The reservations office is open Tuesday – Saturday from 10am-4pm and will be taking reservations for July 13th onwards. We will open up earlier dates as they become available.
What is the vibe?
The Wylder Windham vibe is pretty chill. Everyone is welcome here. We pride ourselves on being honest, friendly and fun. We like to spend time with loved ones and like-minded guests. Flip flops or closed toe. Chic resort garments or tank tops. We keep it real. We don’t judge. Come as you are.
How to get there?
Driving: from NYC, Exit 21 on I-87/New York State Thruway
Bus: Adirondack Trailways runs from NYC’s Port Authority Bus Terminal to the Windham bus stop.
Train: Amtrak operates daily between NYC’s Penn Station and Hudson, NY– a 40-minute drive from Windham. You can rent a car or get a taxi from there.

What is the weather in Windham like?
Our summers are beautiful and mild. Our falls are gorgeous with crisp mornings and lovely afternoons. In the winter, it gets cold up here, which is great for snow and winter sports. Pack some layers!
What are the restaurant hours?
Babblers, our restaurant, bar and bakery is currently being renovated and scheduled to open in Summer 2022. Once completed, it will be open 7 days a week. Stay tuned for further details. In the meantime, there are plenty of great, local spots nearby, and we have a few tricks up our sleeve to get you what you are looking for.
What are the check in/check out times?
Check in starts at 3pm and check out is at 11am. If you need an earlier check in or a later check out, please speak to our guest services team.
Is the hotel dog friendly?
Yes! We are dog friendly property-wide for $50 per dog, per night. Your dog must be leashed while in public spaces and please remember to clean up after your pet. We do not allow any other pets besides dogs. We also have a fenced-in private dog run on property.
What are some activities/things to do in and around Windham?
Windham is an outdoor paradise full of different adventures depending on the season. You can enjoy fly fishing, hiking, mountain & road biking, downhill skiing, cross country skiing, snowboarding, snowshoeing, nature walks and more.
Do you sell ski passes?

Is there Wi-Fi?
Yes, there is complimentary Wi-Fi throughout the property, but we love when guests disconnect, get off the grid and enjoy the great outdoors!
What are your Covid-19 policies?
We follow the Greene County Covid policies. Wylder has 20 acres of land and is a place where you can relax with plenty of space and feel safe.
What is the smoking policy?
We are a non-smoking hotel. That said, we appreciate good quality products around the firepit late at night. If you don’t mess that vibe up, we’re down. If someone gets uncomfortable, it’s closing time.
What is included in the resort fee?
Your resort fee includes a welcome beverage, Wi-Fi, electric bikes, standard bikes, heated pool, fire pits, wood-fired sauna, wood-fired hot tub, shuffleboard, corn hole, bocce, hammocks, recreation room, and fresh air galore. We think you’ll find that the value and thoughtfulness of our property is amazing. We take our leisure seriously!
What is your policy for group bookings?
We love hosting groups celebrating vacations, birthdays, reunions, weddings, and more, but we must follow all policies and procedures to ensure all of our guests have an amazing time during your stay while maintaining our standard resort environment. There is always a fine line between the whole property having a great time and a group commandeering the property, so we require contracts for any groups booking more than 4 rooms.
